PashuSevak Bharat Portal is a gig economy platform for animal husbandry. It formalises rural animal health work into verified, paid, trackable assignments — connecting livestock farmers to trained PashuSevak field providers, paravets and registered veterinarians. Every service request is geo-matched to the nearest available provider, every animal carries a digital identity, and every prescription is authorised by a licensed veterinarian. The result is a livelihood engine for rural youth and a dependable service layer for farmers who previously had none.
Platform Capabilities
Gig Economy Workforce Model
Rural youth, paravets and veterinary graduates enrol as PashuSevaks, complete verification and training, and receive geo-matched assignments. Every completed service carries a defined earning share, converting informal village work into documented, income-generating employment.
PSFARM UID & Digital Pashu Identity
Each farm receives a PSFARM unique identifier and each animal a QR-linked digital Pashu ID. One scan opens the animal's verified profile — breed, age, ownership, vaccination and treatment history — replacing paper records that are lost, duplicated or forged.
Geo-Filtered Service Dispatch
Service requests are filtered by reachability rather than distance alone — only providers who can physically reach the farm within the target window receive the assignment. Leaflet-based geospatial mapping, live provider status and accept or decline flow keep response time predictable.
Kisan Dashboard & Farm Economics
Farmers track their herd, service history, milk yield and monthly farm economics in one Hindi-first dashboard. Daily and monthly milk records, income against expense, and animal-wise health timelines turn a livestock household into a measurable enterprise.
FPO & Partner Licensing
Farmer Producer Organisations, dairy cooperatives, NGOs and institutional partners license the platform for their member base, with their own dashboard, farmer mapping and service oversight. Distribution scales through existing rural institutions rather than costly direct acquisition.
Veterinary Doctor Panel
Registered veterinarians onboard to a dedicated panel with case review, remote prescription approval via secure PIN, teleconsultation and wallet settlement. Field providers deliver supervised care; only a licensed veterinarian authorises a prescription.
How a Service Request Moves
From the farmer's first tap to a documented, veterinarian-authorised outcome — every step is timestamped, geo-tagged and recorded against the animal's permanent identity.

Farmer Raises Request
The farmer submits a request in Hindi through the portal or progressive web app, with photo or video of the animal, location and symptom description.

Geo-Matched Dispatch
The system identifies verified providers who can physically reach the farm within the target window and assigns the request, with live tracking for the farmer.

Field Visit & Findings
The PashuSevak attends the animal, records clinical findings against the animal's Pashu ID and escalates to a veterinarian where treatment is required.

Doctor Authorisation
A registered veterinarian reviews the case remotely and approves the prescription through a secure PIN, in line with the Veterinary Council of India Act 1984.

Fulfilment & Follow-Up
Medicine is dispensed through the connected pharmacy network and structured follow-up is scheduled, closing the loop on the animal's health record.

Smallholder Livestock Farmers
Households owning two to ten animals who previously had no dependable access to trained animal health support. Registration is free; farmers pay only for services requested.

Compliance position. PashuSevak Bharat Portal operates as an information technology intermediary connecting farmers, field service providers and registered veterinarians. Clinical authority rests solely with the attending veterinarian under the Veterinary Council of India Act 1984. Farmer and provider data is processed in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, with consent captured at registration and mobile verification through one-time password.
